Cami is out of our foundation male 4Peruvian White Knight. She has been a solid producer for us, great milker which means her crias grow up big and strong, and she has maintained a 23 AFD. Cami's first cria, Salt River's Buster, was sold as a breeding male. Her second cria, Salt River's Caleb, gave us a 15.9 micron AFD in his first year of age with an SD of 3.4, and this fall, she delivered another beautiful boy who, like the two before him, is completely uniform in lock style from shoulder to hip (a sign of uniform AFD)! Lucy is a product of HCLA Trixie and Suri Lane's Lucian. We purchased Lucian to start focusing on our SD as we felt we had the retention of fineness in the herd, but needed to start narrowing our SD into the "3s". Lucian offered that prospect for offspring in their early years - all delivered on that and Lucy is a great example. Her first year fleece was 17.9 microns and 3.7 SD. In year two, Lucy slipped into the "4s", but we have bred her to SuperSuris Lady's Man who held is SD in the "3s" into his 4th year.
